The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts was established in Vancouver, BC in 1969 before relocating to West Vancouver in 1971. Following, the Anna Wyman Dance Theatre was formed. The professional company toured all over the world, including the USA, China, India, Mexico, Australia, and Europe and gained both a National and International reputation. 
The school is renowned for both its choreography and teaching. Instructors are based on talent, merit, and teaching ability. The school takes pride in each faculty member and wants each student to achieve a high level of training in a stimulating environment. Successful graduates of The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts have moved on to dance in companies throughout Canada, the US, and Europe.
The school is known for its wide range of programs, including the Classical Ballet Training Program (CBT), The Professional Training Program (PTP), Royal Academy of Dance Program (RAD), Contemporary, Jazz, Flamenco, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop. Our students performs all over the lower mainland,including The Centennial Theatre, Circle Craft, public and private schools, and community events. 
The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts displays its many talents to encourage more involvement in the arts. 

About The School

In PreparationAnna Wyman School of Dance Arts, established in 1970, operates its studio at 1457 Marine Drive in West Vancouver, BC. Instructional facilities include two dance studios equipped with professionally sprung dance floors. 

The founder, Anna Wyman, is internationally recognized for her talent and passion for the arts. The School is renowned for its excellence in arts and for maintaining high standards in both teacher selection and in student training, producing students of extraordinary talent and achievement. 

Our school consists of two large studios and is made up of 9 faculty members and over 300 students. It runs on three terms per year: Fall (16 weeks approx.), Winter/Spring (22 weeks approx.), and Summer School. For optimum dance training, students should attend the Fall and Winter Terms. 

As part of the training program, The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts presents two major performances each school year involving all students. The shows are presented at The Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver. In addition, the school performs several shows each year around the lower mainland.

The school's aim is to enhance the dynamics of life through the arts. We want each child to have an invaluable dancing experience regardless of age, background, or ability.
