Contemporary 1 & 2

For dancers 8 years and up. This class is a fantastic complement to ballet training, allowing an exploration of space and an innovation of movement. Improvisation and musicality are highlighted, and techniques employed include: fall and release, rolling, across the floor, contraction, and individual expression. Incorporating a variety of rhythms, this class will vastly open up each student's vocabulary of dance.

Primary Jazz, Jazz 1, 2, 3 & Jazz Technique

For dancers 8 years and up. This class focuses on introducing the fundamentals of Jazz to dancers. Class structure involves warm-up, stretching, isolations, turns and across the floor. Exercises and choreography are set to fun, upbeat, popular music. Dancers will strengthen technique, improve flexibility and have a ton of fun!

Street Jazz 1 & 2

Each week focuses on a different style of dance inspired by today's most exciting pop performers and music video choreographers - think Justin Timberlake & Beyoncé. Confidence and personal style are built up as dancers learn to move with musicality and ease. For dancers 9 years and older.

Lyrical Jazz

Based in a strong foundation of jazz technique, this class takes the lyrics of today's popular music as the foundation for storytelling through dance. Learn to express emotion and narrative through the moving body, while developing a maturity of performance as a young dancer. This class develops a strong musicality and a deeper connection to dance on a personal level, to help dancers connect to themselves and to the audience. For dancers 9 years and older.
