School History

The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts was established in Vancouver, BC in 1970 before relocating to West Vancouver in 1971. Following, the Anna Wyman Dance Theatre was formed. The professional company toured all over the world, including the USA, China, India, Mexico, Australia, and Europe and gained both a National and International reputation.

The school is renowned for both its choreography and teaching. Instructors are based on talent, merit, and teaching ability. The school takes pride in each faculty member and wants each student to achieve a high level of training in a stimulating environment. Successful graduates of The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts have moved on to dance in companies throughout Canada, the US, and Europe.

The school is known for its wide range of programs, including The Professional Training Program (PTP), Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Flamenco, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop. Our students performs all over the lower mainland, including The Centennial Theatre, public and private schools, and community events.

The Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts displays its many talents to encourage more involvement in the arts.
